CSO Alliance in West Africa: 23 - 25 March

March 23rd 2015 to March 25th 2015
We are pleased to announce a partnership with Vale Media Group for its upcoming Upstream West Africa event, which is taking place between March 23rd and 25th 2015, at the Labadi Beach Hotel, Accra, Ghana.

We will be moderating a security panel, but with Vale Media support we will also host a CSO workshop at the same event. It will be a unique CSO offer and allow CSOs to meet up and work up common ideas and share best practice.

CSOs can join the event for 24 hours.
Attend the event Gala Dinner, with bed, breakfast and lunch included.
Attend the Event Security Panel Discussion.
Attend a private out of hours CSO only workshop.

It should be a focused 24 hours. Vale Media have kindly supported this initiative with a special rate for CSOs of £500 for 24 hours all in. CSOs are naturally welcome to join for the three days of the event, but need to pay the full delegate fee.

Our intention is to travel onto Lagos to run a workshop for locally based charterers and CSOs 26-27 March which we will confirm shortly.

Daniel Maggs, Chief Executive Officer, for Vale Media Group commented, “We’re absolutely delighted with the Strategic Partnership with CSO Alliance and extremely excited for this year’s gathering. CSO Alliance are supporting the event and will moderate the Security Panel Discussion on Day 3 of the Summit and through their extensive global network of CSOs help put together the delegation which will contribute to the session, as Security Challenges in West Africa is one of the hot discussion points in the region”

Mark Sutcliffe, Director for CSO Alliance added that it is a great opportunity to review the key issues that all Maritime Company Security Officers face whilst working in or planning to visit West Africa. With a panel of market leading professionals. The session will focus on the current impact of Maritime Crime throughout the region, establishing what trends are present or emerging, with a review of solutions and innovations to help manage the risks.
