EUNAVFOR & UKMTO

October 13th 2015
Simon Church has worked as the Merchant Marine Liaison Officer based at Northwood for six years and is our industry’s effective link with EUNAVFOR.

With the team from UKMTO in Portsmouth we invited eight senior CSOs from Tanker, Cruise, Owner, Operator and Charterer companies to take part in a workshop, Tuesday 10 September.

A threat assessment was delivered and the CSOs explained the risk management processes they ran through for both their Fleets and Management. There were quite a variety of routines.

The reduction of the HRA was also discussed, along with the wider implications of this.

CSO Alliance strives to facilitate this dialogue so that all our members needs are represented. CSO feedback helps ensure the Military and Merchant Marine CSOs work as one.
